Driver's license service restored following internet outage

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) A cut fiber-optic line has been fixed after an internet outage at the Texas Department of Public Safety Office in Bryan.

DPS Trooper Jimmy Morgan said the outage left the office unable to process driver's licenses, but those who paid online were still take a driver's test.

Morgan told KBTX late Tuesday morning that the problem has been corrected, and that the service was up and running once again.
