COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - A drinking and driving mock crash at College Station High School will cause a road to be closed early Thursday morning.
Officials say Victoria Ave. between Barron Rd. and Hwy 40 in College Station will be shut down from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
College Station High School is staging a mock crash to teach students the dangers of drinking and driving.
It's part of the school's "Shattered Dreams" program. The entire CSHS student body will be present for the mock crash. They will see the arrest of the DWI driver and the transport of several "injured" students to local hospitals.
