Eight-year-old serves as youngest BCS Chamber delegate in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KBTX) - All week, business and community leaders from the Brazos Valley have been in Washington D.C. for the annual Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce's delegation trip.

This year, there was one representative of a different demographic.

Preston Galloway, 8, traveled to Washington, D.C. with his grandmother, Bryan city secretary Mary Lynne Stratta.

Preston was in the room as high-level federal lawmakers spoke to the group about the issues facing the country.

Preston met and was photographed with Congressman Bill Flores (R-District 17), Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn from Texas, and many more.

"I got to see the White House and pretty much I went to a lot of meetings," Preston told News 3.
