FRA extends deadline for high speed rail input

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - Landowners who would be impacted by a proposed high speed bullet train have a little more time to submit public comments to the Federal Railroad Administration.

A deadline has been extended to March 9, the FRA confirmed to KBTX on Tuesday. The administration wanted to allow more time for public input.

The proposed bullet train would connect Houston to Dallas, with a stop in Grimes County.
