Fire crews respond to restaurant fire in College Station

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - College Station fire crews responded to a restaurant fire on South Texas Ave Tuesday morning.

Crews were dispatched to Rosie's Pho restaurant around 8:20 a.m.

Officials said a pot left on the stove had caught fire. Smoke was seen coming from the structure when fire crews arrived.

The businesses on either side of the restaurant were evacuated.

Holleman Drive was shut down from Texas Ave. to George Bush Dr. for about an hour.

The fire was under control by 8:30 a.m.

There were no injuries reported and there was no serious damage to the building.
