BRYAN, Tex (KBTX) - While we won't likely see as widespread of heavy rain and thunderstorms across our area as early this morning, we're now more saturated, and thunderstorms that pop up today could create some areas of flooding.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch until 3pm Wednesday afternoon for most of the Brazos Valley. The greatest window for heavy thunderstorms is through the rest of this morning and a little bit into the afternoon.
There's a possibility we see the watch extended or shifted out of the area, so stay tuned. Widespread flash flooding is not anticipated at this time, but the usual trouble spots and low lying areas could become flooded under areas that see storms.
