BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) -- 'Tis the season for tailgates! Even if what's happening on the field doesn't get you excited, you may still enjoy all of the food that comes along with the season.
Kelly Anthony, local blogger and home chef, shared a few of her game day recipes and hosting suggestions with us.
Anthony says when it comes to hosting a game day party, keeping it simple is key. It may be wise to choose a few items to cook from scratch, but if you are feeling stressed or short on time, don't shy away from no-cook options.
"Choosing a no-cook option like an antipasto platter or a cheese and meat platter can really be huge time savers," explained Anthony.
During Brazos Valley This Morning, Anthony demonstrated how to make Maroon Out Meatballs, Aggie Oatmeal Cookies, and how to prepare a game day meat and cheese tray.
Watch the attached videos to see her demonstrations. Part two of the video is about the meatballs. Part three features the cookies and part four features the meat and cheese tray demonstration.
