Missing Bryan man found

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - On Sept. 13 at 1:09 p.m., Lynn Sherman was located in his vehicle at a gas station in Centerville, TX.

A Leon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy made contact with Mr. Sherman after a person called to report they had seen him. Mr. Sherman was not injured. He has been taken to Madisonville to be evaluated further.

Earlier today, the College Station Police Department issued a Silver Alert for Lynn Sherman.

The 75-year-old Bryan man went missing. According to police, Sherman's wife called police to tell them he left in their vehicle without her knowledge.

Sherman was last seen at the time driving a gray 2010 Ford Edge SUV. The license plate had a handicap symbol with the numbers "4JVLG." He was seen heading east in the 700 block of University Drive.

Sherman was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans and suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
