Madison County deputies investigating theft of cows from pasture

MADISON COUNTY, Tex. (KBTX)- Madison County deputes are investigating the theft of 10 cows and 10 calves from a private pasture.

According to a post on the Madison County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the theft happened between 6 p.m. Monday, February 6th and 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 7th.

The suspects apparently used a truck and trailer to remove the cattle.

The cows all had a "W" brand on the right hop. The calves were unbranded.
