AUGUST 8th, 2017 -- Thanks to a small area of low pressure lingering near the area, more passing rain is expected across parts of the Brazos Valley Wednesday.
That low -- known as a MCV (Mesoscale Convective Vortex) -- drifted across the Brazos Valley Monday night and to the southeast of the area Tuesday. Wednesday it retreats a bit to the west, allowing the area to fall under the flow of the right side.
Gulf moisture will continue to funnel into atmosphere, any activity that develops will run from the south to the north / northeast.
While this is not a wash out of a day, passing downpours will be on hand for some, especially by midday through late afternoon.
