COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) - If you shop at the HEB at Tower Point in College Station...you might see Store Director Charles Dorsey giving out free hugs to his customers.

His mission is to be a positive influence on everyone he meets.

"I come here everyday knowing there could be somebody who is having a bad day, and if I can tell them 'have a nice day' or smile big or 'everything's going to be alright'," he said. "I can change the life of someone really fast."

Charles says he wants to inspire kids.
That's why he and his wife started a ministry to help those who grow-up in less fortunate circumstances.

"We just try to give them a pathway and show them a better time, a better place, and just show them that God loves them." Dorsey said.

He says even though he didn't have a lot growing up...he had loving parents...and it's that kind of love he wants to share.
