NOVEMBER 6th, 2017 -- After near record highs & unseasonable days kicked off the month of November, a chill is set to return to the Brazos Valley. By Wednesday, afternoon temperatures will be closer to the average, expected overnight low for this time of the year.
A cold front arrives in the Northern Brazos Valley Tuesday between noon & mid-afternoon. By sunset, the northern & central reaches of the area are expected in the 60s & 70s, with those closer to I-10 will wrap up the day in the 80s.
Unseasonably cold air slips into the area Tuesday night & through the day Wednesday. Factor in a brisk north wind, clouds, & on / off rain -- temperatures may only reach the upper 40s & low 50s by Wednesday afternoon.
