Planting trees and woody shrubs

By  |

Trees and shrubs are ideally planted between November and February. They need the cold to get established.

However, container grown plants can be planted anytime. The trick is maintaining moisture so the roots can become established.

When you plant a tree in the ground make sure to remove all surrounding weeds and cover with mulch after you put it in the ground.
