In trending news this morning, K9 Nitro, Officer Cowan and Officer Hancock were doing some push-ups before their shift at the Gulf Shores Police Department. The video was posted to the department's Facebook page and the video has since gone viral. The post reads "K9 Nitro, Officer Cowan and Officer Hancock are getting warmed up and ready to apprehend any bad guys that break the law!"

Next, ahead of this weekend's football game between rivals Ohio State and Michigan, Ohio Governor John Kasich tweeted a "PSA." It showed an official-looking resolution urging all Ohioans to avoid using what he called "the alphabet's unlucky 13th letter" which is "m." Each letter "m" in the resolution had been turned red and crossed out with a red line -- a reference to Ohio state's colors, which are scarlet and grey. A lot of "m"s have been missing from twitter lately. Many Buckeyes fans dropped the letter from their tweets, including their own names.

Also trending, deep sea researchers prowling the pacific ocean for the past three years have made some bizarre finds. A Deepstaria Jellyfish was spotted off mexico's coast. The impressive pattern on the jelly's body is actually part of its digestive process. The team also captured video of a rare vampire squid. Its full name is Vampyroteuthis Infernalis, which translates to "vampire squid from hell."

Lastly, a new study suggests that drinking different types of alcohol can trigger specific emotions. Research revealed that people drinking spirits like gin or vodka reported being more aggressive than beer and wine drinkers. Speaking of wine, the study also noted that red wine drinkers felt more relaxed and tired. The study, published this week in the online journal "BMJ Open," surveyed 30,000 people between the ages of 18 and 34. Researchers say while more study is needed, the report could provide insight into peoples' drinking habits.
