COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX)- According to the College Station Police Department, the search for the missing Bryan man, Randy Roblyer, 24, will continue Thursday.
He was reported missing Sunday afternoon after he left his job at Shipley's Donuts in College Station. Officials found his abandoned truck Wednesday afternoon along William D. Fitch Parkway near Carters Creek between Highway 6 and Rock Prairie Road.
A DPS helicopter, TDCJ dogs, and law enforcement officers from several agencies participated in the search for Roblyer in a rural part of the city. The search was suspended Wednesday night, but CSPD and Bryan PD confirmed that the investigation into his disappearance is ongoing and they will continue to search Thursday morning in the area near where his vehicle was found.
Randy's mother says she's thankful for all the help coming from several area law enforcement agencies.
"He may have taken an overdose of insulin. He has a serious medical condition and could be in real danger," said Kathy Roblyer in a Facebook post.
"We are grateful to all of you for your concern and will update you as we know more," said Kathy Roblyer.
