COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX)- A small plane carrying three people crashed immediately after takeoff Saturday night at Easterwood Airport in Brazos County, according to officials.

Nobody on the plane was injured, said authorities.

News 3's Clay Falls was on the scene shortly after the incident, and confirms it was a twin engine propeller airplane.

Clay spoke with the plane's pilot, who declined to speak on-camera, but did say the airplane belonged to a friend and there may have been an issue with a fuel selector on the aircraft.

The pilot said the group was in town to attend the Texas A&M Football game.

The pilot told us the plane is a PA-23 Geronimo.

No other air traffic is affected by the incident, and the airport remains open.
