Totals released for annual Salvation Army Mayor Ring Off

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - The City of Bryan is once again the winner of the annual Salvation Army BCS Mayor Ring Off.

For the past 11 years, Bryan and College Station mayors have competed to see who can raise the most money by ringing the Salvation Army bell for an hour.

During this past weekend, Bryan Mayor Andrew Nelson raised at total of $3,574.76 while College Station Mayor Karl Mooney raised $1,320.76.

In the end though, it's all for a good cause.
The two mayors raised a grand total of $4895.52 for the Salvation Army in just one hour!
