BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) -- The murder trial of a man accused of murdering six people at a campsite in Anderson County is being moved to Brazos County.

The Brazos County Sheriff's office confirmed to News 3 that William Hudson's trial will be hosted in Bryan. A start date hasn't be set yet.

Hudson allegedly killed six people at a campsite off County Road 2217 near Tennessee Colony. Two of the victims were found inside a travel trailer. The four other victims were found in a pond.

Authorities say Hudson befriended the group of people before he pulled a gun and started shooting them. Cynthia Johnson told sheriff's deputies she heard gunshots before Hudson returned alone to the campsite and chased her husband and daughter into a travel camper, where he shot them.
