Trio arrested following high-speed chase in College Station

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX)- Three men arrested following a high-speed chase in College Station on Saturday have been identified.

According to probable cause statements obtained by KBTX, the men arrested are:

Preston Marquel Wiggins, 19, of Bryan

Ladarion Deon Johnson, 17, of Bryan

Jamerson Rashar Shirley-Johnson, 20, of Bryan.

All three men are facing drug-related charges. Johnson, and Shirley-Johnson are facing charges of tampering with evidence.

According to the reports obtained, the trio of suspects were inside a vehicle that refused to stop for DPS Troopers on Saturday afternoon in College Station.

A trooper reported seeing the vehicle speeding on FM 2818, and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The high-speed chase went through College Station and ended in a parking lot off the west side of Wellborn Road near Holleman Drive at the Wayne Smith Little League Park.

Troopers say during the chase, marijuana and hydrocodone pills were tossed out the fleeing vehicle.

The car's driver, and a 5th passenger inside the vehicle took off running after it stopped. At last check, several law enforcement agencies were still searching for them.

Troopers reported finding marijuana in the vehicle.
