WALKER COUNTY, Tex. (KBTX) -- The Walker County Sheriff's Office is investigating separate deaths in different parts of the county.
They say a woman confessed to stabbing her boyfriend.
In a completely separate case investigators need your help identifying a body found Monday.
Neighbors along FM 3411 are feeling nervous.
Monday morning a woman was found dead in the woods at a vacant farm house and property.
Investigators say the woman found is white or Hispanic, 25 to 50 years old. She was wearing a dark colored hoodie, yellow pants, a black belt and white new balance tennis shoes.
Investigators need help identifying her.
They have sent her body for an autopsy to figure out a cause of death.
They are treating the case as a possible homicide but tell News 3 so far there's not any obvious signs of that.
On the other side of the county investigators had a busy weekend covering an alleged murder.
45-year-old Celinda Evonne Claus is charged with allegedly stabbing her boyfriend, 46-year-old Andrew Peavey.
Deputies found him dead on the front porch of her house with a stab wound to his chest.
Sheriff's investigators say she confessed to stabbing him at a home in the 1000 block of F-M 247, following a fight and drinking.
Investigators tell us she initially claimed he'd committed suicide, but physical evidence told another story.
Residents we talked to off camera say they are shocked to hear about both cases, one telling us she'd moved from the big city to get away from crime.
Celinda Claus remains in the Walker County Jail on 150 thousand dollars bond.
