FEBRUARY 11th, 2017 -- Another day, another record high goes down in Bryan / College Station. We officially hit 87° this afternoon, breaking the previous record of 84° set back in 1922.
The entire Brazos Valley was certainly in for a scorcher on this February day. Some of us even managed to get us close to 90° this afternoon.
In fact, we've had a rather warm week with the exception of Thursday. Other than that, we've basically been around 80° or above since Monday.
Now, all warm streaks must come to an end, and this one will be no different. A cold front is on the way for the second half of the weekend, and it should bring some much cooler air back into the Brazos Valley to get your upcoming week started. We'll still be around 80° on Sunday, but the real cooler air filters in for most of the upcoming week.
Heavy rain is possible by Valentine's Day, so hopefully you are taking the proper precautions for that date night out!
