Weekend Gardener - Rain Gardens

By  |

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) -- This week on Weekend Gardener, we’re talking about rain gardens. Often times when it rains, the runoff disappears quickly. A rain garden is a depression in the ground about 6-8 inches deep and is a great way to hold water on your property until it slowly filters back into the ground. Rain gardens help prevent runoff, erosion and helps filter the water.
