The summer heat is here to stay, at least for the rest of the summer and it’s important for those who work outside, including and especially gardeners to take care of themselves.
Gardeners often wear gloves to protect their hands but you need to protect the rest of your body as well.
Wide brimmed hats are a great way to protect your face and neck. Also, consider wearing long sleeved shirts to shield your arms. If you don’t want to wear long sleeves, sunscreen is a great alternative. Finally, don’t forget to stay well hydrated.
