Woman arrested for hit and run with children in backseat

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX) - A College Station woman was arrested for a hit and run with a suspended license Wednesday.

Bryan police said the accident happened at West Villa Maria and Wellborn Road right after midnight Wednesday. The victim entered the intersection and 27-year-old Erica Williams went through a red light and hit the front of her car.

After trying to talk with Williams, the victim says she drove off, hitting her car again. Williams also had two children in the backseat.

Police found her and discovered she had six active suspensions on her license. She's charged with accident involving damage, driving with a suspended license, and failure to yield.
