Veterans Day is behind us but that doesn't mean we should stop honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us. That's why Wreaths Across America is asking the public to outfit fallen veterans' headstones with beautiful wreaths this holiday season.
This year their goal is to raise enough money to place 2,200 wreaths on the graves of fallen soldiers across the Brazos Valley. So far, they are already nearing 1,000 after receiving a $500 donation from Brazos Valley Cares.
Wreaths Across America receives no government funding to support our mission. Each wreath is sponsored by individuals, organizations, or businesses. Each $15 tax-deductible sponsorship places one wreath on a veteran's grave.
There are three ways to help with this project.
You can pre-sponsor wreaths for just $15 a piece. The deadline for that is "Giving Tuesday" which lands on November 28. Head to the Brazos Valley Wreaths Across America website to donate.

You can also participate in staging, placing, and picking up the wreaths.
You can also promote the event by spreading the word that the government does not provide the wreaths, grateful citizens do.
The group will be placing the wreaths on Saturday, December 16 at 11 a.m.
