Dudley "Skip" Ksionda, 79, of College Station, went to be with his Lord & Savior on Monday, November 6, 2017. Visitation will be Thursday, November 9 at 2:00 pm at Grace Bible Church in College Station, Texas with a 3:00 pm service to immediately follow. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 10 at 11:00 am in Sweeny, Texas.

Skip was born on July 7, 1938 in Freeport, Texas. He graduated from West Columbia High School in West Columbia, TX in 1956 and attended Texas A&M University as a member of the Corps of Cadets to study Chemical Engineering.

Skip was an active member of Grace Bible Church in College Station, Texas and First Baptist Church of Old Ocean, Texas. He retired from Dow Chemical after 35 years, was a longtime Texas Aggie football season ticket holder and faithfully served in a number of positions at church and in the Emmaus community.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robbie & Carl Ksionda and his sister, Robbie Ksionda.

Skip is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Sue Ksionda; daughter and son-in-law, Dana & James Smith of Sweeny, TX; grandchildren Jesse Smith and Jordyn Smith of Sweeny, TX and Jeremy Ksionda and his wife, Stacey, of Belton, TX, as well as great-grandchildren Abby & Zoey Ksionda; sisters Carla Doolen of Cypress, TX and Micah Duckett and husband, Mike, of League City, TX and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- College Station. The family would like to express special thanks to the caregivers of Right at Home for their many years of compassionate care.
