Alice Elizabeth Nagy passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at the age of 99 in College Station, TX. She was born in Houston, TX and a resident of Klein Settlement for almost 20 years; graduating valedictorian of Klein High School. She then attended Drauns Business College where she again graduated as valedictorian. Alice Leitner married John Nagy Jr. on New Year's Eve of 1937. They settled on a farm in the Westfield area of I-45 and spent 33 years truck farming and raising three children. She and John "retired" to the "John Nagy Ranch" in Waller County near Hempstead which they called home for the remainder of their lives.
Alice is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Wenonah Nagy; her daughter, Marlene McCue; her son and daughter-in-law, John Wayne Nagy and Alma Nagy, her 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Chad and Gemma McCue; Carl and Kanda Nagy; Keith and Anna McCue; Richard Nagy, Jr.; Elizabeth and Darryl Karcher and Winona Nagy. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and countless dear friends.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 10, at Trinity Lutheran in Hempstead, TX. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m.-8 p.m., Friday, March 9, at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, TX.
