Bryan-College Station, TX (March 9, 2017)- The Brazos Valley Cavalry FC are excited to announce massive work is underway at Nutrabolt Stadium. Construction began on over the weekend as crews removed the existing irrigation system and continued on Monday morning with the scraping of the field in preparation for the new surface installation.

Nutrabolt Stadium is in the beginning of a makeover that will include improvements to the grandstand, a new outfield fence, multiple new scoreboards and AstroTurf that will replace the grass playing surface. The new soccer field dimensions of 345 feet by 210 feet will enable any major soccer competition to be held at Nutrabolt Stadium. The field will extend from the third base dugout side to the warning track in right field.

The Cavalry FC is also excited to announce that Tim Lomax has become the first season ticket holder for the club’s inaugural year in the Brazos Valley. Mr. Lomax is no stranger to Nutrabolt Stadium as he has been a long time season ticket holder for the Brazos Valley Bombers.

The home opener for the Houston Dynamo PDL affiliate will be on Monday June 5th as the Cavalry FC will host Texas United FC.
