Aggie Women's Golf Heads To Jim West Challenge

THE WOODLANDS, Texas- Texas A&M’s women’s golf team heads to the Jim West Challenge Sept. 11-12 for a two-day, 54-hole tournament at The Fazio Course at The Club at Carlton Woods.

The Aggies are one of 13 teams in the field that takes to the par 71 / 6,010 yard course. In addition to hosts Texas State, Augusta, Duke, Kent State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Southern Miss, TCU, Texas Tech, Tulsa, UNCG and UTSA make up the field.

Courtney Dow, Maddie Szeryk, Morgan Lay, Amber Park and Ariana Saenz tee off in the Aggies’ lineup. Elizabeth Caldarelli and Ariana Saenz compete as individuals.

This is the second straight year the Aggies have competed at The Club at Carlton Woods, shooting 5-under at last year’s edition of the Jim West Classic. Szeryk shot 9-under and tied for third individually.

The Aggies are coming off of a team victory at The Lady Maxwell, winning by 23 strokes. Three Aggies finished in the Top 10, and seven Aggies finished in the Top 20.

The Aggies tee off for the first of two rounds on Monday in a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Live scoring is available on golfstat.com.
