Blinn offers free admission for past and present military personnel

Blinn College will honor the armed forces with its Military Appreciation football game Saturday, Oct. 15, at Cub Stadium in Brenham.

Past and present military personnel will receive free admission, and a variety of festivities will surround the Buccaneers’ 5 p.m. game against New Mexico Military Academy.

The Blinn band will play “Salute to Heroes” before the game and ask active members of the military to stand and be recognized for their service.

A graduate of Snook High School, Texas A&M University, and South Texas College of Law, Schubert serves on the House Committee on County Affairs and the House Committee on Corrections.

The game will air live on KWHI 1280 AM and can be streamed online at www.kwhi.com.
