Brazos Christian wins shootout over Snook 49-36

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -- Tucker Hartis scored a pair of first half touchdowns as Brazos Christian rallied to beat Snook 49-36 Thursday night at Baker Field on the Allen Academy campus.

Hartis scored on a 40 yard screen pass from Bryce Steel on the Eagles opening possession for a 7-0 lead.

Snook will get a pair of touchdown passes from K.J Macik to Damonta Allen and Kohl Junek to give the Bluejays their first lead of the game 14-12, but Hartis will find the endzone again from 30 yards to put Brazos Christian back on top 14-12.

Brazos Christian (1-1) will step back on the field September 22nd as they travel to Anderson to take on the Anderson-Shiro Owls. Snook (0-2) will try again to pick up its first win of the season next Friday (September 15) when they'll host Hearne at Baker Field in Bryan.
