SNOOK, Texas - Classroom Champions, presented by American Momentum Bank.
News 3 Sports would like to congratulate our latest Classroom Champion, Kaylee Supak. The Snook High School Senior has a 3.96 GPA, and is currently the valedictorian of her class.
Michelle Bond - Teacher
“I've had her for several years now and taught her a multitude of maths; I've known her since seventh grade. She's always been an outstanding student. On the rare occasion that she does struggle, she definitely comes in and gets that help; and she provides that help to her fellow students as well.”
Kaylee is a member of the Snook volleyball, track, cross country, and softball teams. She made the Academic All-District teams for volleyball, softball, and track the past three years. In softball, she made 1st Team All-District and was named MVP as a Pitcher. She was also a regional qualifier in cross country. Outside of sports, Kaylee is the President of her Senior Class and the National Honor Society. She's also an FFA reporter, and a member of FCA, the Student Council, and UIL.
Micah Goebel - Coach
“That's what we do here as educators is try to prepare students for the real world, and I think just with the way Kaylee has been and the way she's balanced everything as a student athlete and the hard work ethic that she's had; she's just prepared to go out there. And I know that she's going to be successful.”
Kaylee Supak - Student
“It's special because it's not just an award for me, it's for my school and like the whole community. We're such a small school and community that when one person excels at something, your whole town excels at it. ”
After High School, Kaylee will attend Texas A&M University and major in Interdisciplinary Studies, in hopes to one day become a high school mathematics teacher.
Congratulations to Kaylee Supak of Snook High School. This week’s News 3 Sports Classroom Champion!
