Classroom Champion - Natalee See - November 16, 2017

SNOOK, Texas -- Classroom Champions, presented by American Momentum Bank.

News 3 Sports would like to congratulate our latest Classroom Champion, Natalee See. The Snook High School Senior has a 3.8 GPA, and is currently ranked 2nd in her class.

Michelle Bond – Teacher
“Natalee has been a great leader...with her involvement in so many extracurriculars. She has been president, vice president, secretary, she's always taking those leadership positions. And she's so actively involved in her church and her community as well. And somehow manages to balance all of that on top of the that on top of being an athlete.”

Darryl Bruffett
Natalee is a member of the Lady Jay basketball, tennis, track, volleyball and tennis teams at Snook. Natalee received Academic All-District honors in every sport she's involved in. And in volleyball, she was a 2nd Team All-District selection and a 1st Team All-District selection in softball. Outside of sports, Natalee is a the President of SPJST and her FFA (Future Farmers of America) Chapter. She's also the Vice President of the National Honor Society and she's the Senior class secretary. And Last year, Natalee was named the Queen of the Burleson County Fair.

Jessica Carlson - Coach
“Definitely both. Leading by example, she knows our goals and expectations. So she is one of the ones who will stress that and she'll keep everybody kind of in check. And make sure everybody's doing the right thing at the right time; day in and day out. And then vocally she's the loudest one on the court; which we truly appreciate. And if even if she's on the bench for a point or two, she's the loudest one on the bench. So she all around is just a great leader.”

Natalee See - Student
“Having my sister, two years older than me, and going through high school before me. It definitely affected my work ethic, because I wanted to be better than my sister. And she taught me how to do things correctly. And before I won this award it definitely was a friendly competition between me and my sister. Because she was always like if you don't win it you're not as good as me. But now that I won it, I'm caring on the legacy of Carlee and of the See name. And I'm just really proud to win this award and be like my big sister.”

After High School, Natalee plans on attending Texas A&M University and will major in Speech Pathology.

Congratulations to Natalee See of Snook High School. This week’s News 3 Sports Classroom Champion!
