College Station stays unbeaten in district play with win over Waco University

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The College Station football team beat Waco University 62-14 Friday night in a district 18-5A game at Cougar Field. With the win College Station improved to 4-2 on the season and 2-0 in district play. University falls to 0-5 on the season and 0-2 in district play. The Trojans have now lost 42 straight games.

College Station would start the scoring with a 29 yard touchdown pass from Marquez Perez to Harrison Wellmann. University would tie the game on a 26 yard touchdown pass from Emilio Arechiga to C.J. Crane.

College Station would take the lead back on a Perez 32 yard touchdown run. The Cougars would not trail again in the game.

College Station will return to action October 13 for a game at A&M Consolidated. University will host Bryan October 13 at Waco ISD Stadium.
