Hal Lusk Named Assistant Coordinator of SEC Men’s Basketball Officials

Birmingham, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced on Thursday that Hal Lusk, a veteran NCAA official with 27 years of experience, will assume the role of Assistant Coordinator of Men’s Basketball Officials. Lusk will work closely with SEC Coordinator of Men’s Basketball Officials Mark Whitehead and SEC Associate Commissioner for Men’s Basketball Dan Leibovitz.

A native of Clinton, Miss., Lusk was a Division I official for 27 years in the Big 12, Pac-12, American, Mountain West, Missouri Valley, Conference USA among other conferences. He was selected to officiate 14 NCAA Tournaments and one NCAA Regional. He is currently the Supervisor of Officials for the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges, the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference and the Southern States Athletic Conference.
