Huntsville falls to Georgetown in bi-district playoff game

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Huntsville football team lost to Georgetown Friday night 29-7 in a Class 5A Division 2 bi-district round playoff game at Tiger Field. Huntsville fell behind 9-0 before scoring their only touchdown of the game in the second quarter on a Jayce Elliott to Jaylon Griffin 16 yard touchdown pass. A Caden Leggett one yard touchdown run was the first of two Georgetown fourth quarter touchdowns that put the game away.

Huntsville ends the season with an 8-2 record. Georgetown will face College Station November 25 in the area round of the playoffs. The game will kickoff at 2:00 p.m. at Waco ISD Stadium.
