Texas A&M's Christian Kirk declares for NFL Draft

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -- Texas A&M Wide Receiver Christian Kirk declared for the NFL Draft
Tuesday afternoon and will forgo his senior season in Aggieland. He lead the team in all purpose yardage all three of his year's in the Maroon and White.

This season finishing with 1,412 yards along with 12 touchdowns which included a punt return and a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Christian's numbers this year were not as good as they were in his first two years at Texas A&M, but none the less he had an impressive Aggie career.

His freshman season was his best as a receiver with 80 receptions for over 1,009 yards. He also had 1,789 all purpose yards that year.

There was no sophomore slump for Christian as he hauled in an SEC leading 83 passes for 928 yards and led the nation with 3 punt returns for touchdowns.

For his career he finishes with 4,834 all purpose yards which ranks 3rd all time behind Cyrus Gray (6,423) and Darren Lewis (5,138).
