Shane Tripucka named to the NFLPA All-Star Bowl

COLLEGE STATION— Texas A&M senior standout punter Shane Tripucka has been named to the NFLPA Collegiate All-Star Bowl which will be held in the Rose Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018.

Tripucka, from Allen High School, helped the Aggies lead the SEC in net punting with an overall net of 43.4 per kick. His overall punting average was 46.1 with 30 kicks of over 50 plus yards. Tripucka killed 23 of his kicks inside the 20 and forced 33 fair catches.

This will mark the seventh annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and the game will be televised on FS1 with kick at 3 p.m. central/1 p.m. pacific from Pasadena.

The game allows scouts, player personnel staff, general managers and head coaches from all 32 NFL teams to attend practices, conduct player interviews and review tape.

The head coaches for the team will be NFL legends Mike Martz and Hall of Fame cornerback Darrell Green. This will be the fourth year for Martz to lead a squad and Green will be a rookie head coach.
