Snook's playoff run done following 58-46 loss to Thorndale

HEARNE, Texas (KBTX) -- The Snook BlueJays basketball team team led early against top ranked Thorndale Tuesday night in the Class 2A Regional Quarterfinals, but couldn't hang on as the Bulldogs prevailed 58-46 Tuesday night at Eagle Gym.

Michael Ramirez led Snook with 18 points and hit a 3 pointer in the 4th quarter to cut Thorndale's 17 point lead to 5 with just over 4 minutes to play, but that was as close as Snook would get.

Thorndale had four players score in double figures with Albert Andrew leading the way with 12, while Ty Prince added 11, Albert Ashton tossed in 10 and Sam Reaves contributing 10.
