Brazos Valley Bucket List: Sanders Corps of Cadets Center

We didn't have to travel far for this week's Bucket List item. We went just down the street to the Sanders Corps of Cadets Center on Texas A&M campus.

It's no secret, A&M is steeped in tradition and much of that tradition can be traced back to the Corps of Cadets.

In the Great Hall at the Corps Center, all of that tradition is proudly on display.

You can learn about everything from the 12th Man to the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band to Reveille, the first lady of Texas A&M.

There is also a display of Aggie rings dating back to the 1800s, along with a case on Muster and an entire wall dedicated to showing you what it's like to be in the Corps on a day-to-day basis.

On top of that, you'll see an impressive gun collection. In fact, it's one of the biggest in the entire country. There is a gun from every war the United States has ever fought in.

The Corps Center is free and open to the public Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm.
