Washington on the Brazos

Updated: Mon 10:19 AM, Jul 04, 2011

Washington on the Brazos is a must see for anyone who is interested in History, but one thing visitors need to realize, that it isn't just the park that they need to look at, but the whole town.

The park is very interesting with so many beautiful trees and old buildings, but if they will look at the informational map at the park, they will see that the whole area is part of history.

You can stroll, looking at the beautiful country side, and you can also take a picnic lunch and eat near the river, listening to the relaxing sounds of the water as it rushes forth. This is a must see for anyone who loves Texas, and loves history.
