It takes a lot of volunteers to help out abused and neglected children in our community and Voices for Children just announced how much hard work was put in this fiscal year by those generous people.

106 court appointed special advocates, or CASAs, served 247 children.
81 of those kids were placed in safe, permanent homes.

Overall, they donated more than 7,000 hours in advocacy to help children in Brazos, Burleson and Grimes counties.
