It is always bittersweet to have a member of the KBTX family move on to a new stage in life... That can especially be said for one of KBTX's newscast directors, Kristen Breitling.

Kristen works behind the scenes to make First News at Four, along with other newscasts throughout the week possible. Words cannot describe how hard Kristen works on a daily basis to make each show she directs the best it can possibly be.

We are excited for Kristen to start a new chapter in her life. Kristen was kind enough to send the staff a note saying, in part, "I will be moving to the Dallas area to begin my new job at Rockfish Interactive. They are very excited for me to join their team partly because I possess characteristics that I've acquired from my experiences specifically at KBTX."

Kristen will also be getting married to her fiance, Luke Gallegos, this January. We are all so excited for Kristen and the start of her and Luke's new future.
