20 kindergarteners from the St. Thomas Early Learning Center took a fun field trip this morning to go along with lessons on emergency preparedness.

The students visited the fire station at the old Easterwood Airport.

The kids learned about fire departments and safety and even prepped for the trip by reading "stop drop and roll."

Part of their lesson includes memorizing their parent's number so it's available in case of an emergency.
