89-year-old Louis Hudson was recognized by the Bryan City Council last night for his service to his country.

The World War II veteran was asked to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance at Tuesday night's council meeting.

Joanna, Hudson's wife of 65 years, was by his side as he met and took pictures with the council members.
