We told you last week about Kroger donating $100,000 to the Brazos Valley Food Bank's "Because Hunger Won't Wait" capital campaign.

Well, HEB is also making a $100,000 donation to support that cause.

The company is making this donation through the HEB Food Bank Assistance Program to help meet needs in the Bryan/College Station area.

Through the food bank assistance program, HEB is able to deliver more than 26 million pounds of food, non-perishable items, breads and pastries each year.
