We told you last week about First Victoria Bank's Christmas Tree Silent Auction to raise money for gifts for less fortunate children in our area.

The auction ended on Friday and the week-long auction raised $1,000.

Ten children were adopted from the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.

These children are receiving needs like warm clothes and shoes... to gifts like new bicycles and Barbies.

There was enough money left over that two more children were also able be adopted.
