After a 29-year career in education, New Waverly Superintendent Dr. Clay Webb is retiring.

Webb has spent the past eight years leading the administration of the fighting bulldogs.

He says he's most proud of the schools being recognized for their academic success.

And he's a sam Houston Bearkat.

He won't be at the game tonight but he's rooting for the team!
