One local elementary school student is taking the popular lemonade stand to a whole other level.

Amaia Jefferson is a student at Bowen Elementary.

She's been selling lemonade to raise money to buy a kiln for her art class.

The piece of equipment costs about three thousand dollars and she took it upon herself to raise those funds.

Amaia has been using technology to help her reach that goal.

She posted this video on youtube and uses twitter to remind people of her efforts.
