Some College Station children will have an extra special Christmas this year thanks to officers with the College Station police department.

Recently the officers with the Bicycle unit distributed bikes and helmets to nearly two dozen kids.

Through their program -- Bike and badges -- more than 15 hundred dollars was collected to buy those bikes.

They passed out those bikes at the police department and judging from these pictures, the kids were very excited.
